July 30, 2009 - The cast and crew of Fast & Furious came out to the Citywalk Cinemas near Universal Studios, Hollywood to celebrate the DVD and Blu-ray release ofFast & Furious, the fourth film in the high-octane action franchise. The event included a screening of “Los Bandoleros,” a short film directed by Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel included exclusively as an extra on the two-disc special edition DVD and Blu-ray releases.
Filmed on a shoestring budget in the Dominican Republic, “Los Bandoleros” is a prequel of sorts to Fast & Furious and shows the backstory of the elaborate heist pulled off by Dominic Toretto (Diesel) at the beginning of the film.
Yes, and the money’s still coming in. Until April 12 Fast and furious made more than $ 340 000 000!

Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel (and Paul Walker) have cancelled their upcoming Australian visit, with both falling sick.
